Biosoft® Duo is Coloplast’s softer go-to ureteral stent that combines firmness with flexibility.  The flexible biocompatible polymer of Biosoft softens at body temperature and is softer than Vortek® stents allowing for greater patient comfort.  The loops on the proximal and distal end have excellent shape memory that resists migration during indwell.  Biosoft duo stents are radiopaque for visualization under fluoroscopy and packaged with a unique steerable pusher that enables precise stent placement.

Vortek® ureteral stents are the ideal go-to stent for drainage of the urinary tract and healing of the ureter.  Vortek® features a stiff inner layer that aids in insertion over a guidewire and a soft outer layer that promotes patient comfort.  The hydrophilic-coated Vortek® Hydro further aids in insertion by improving the glide between the stent and epithelial layer of the ureter.

The Retrace® access sheath saves time, reduces cost, and promotes safe access to the urinary tract. The sheath has the unique ability to convert the working wire into a safety wire which eliminates the need for a second guidewire and a dual lumen catheter. The introducer tip is carefully designed to respect the anatomy and prevent injury. The Retrace® kink-resistant sheath is reinforced with a stainless-steel coil to facilitate advancement in torturous urinary tracts.

Dormia® No-Tip baskets are ideal for stone extraction during ureteroscopy within the upper urinary tract. The tipless basket design allows for closer proximity to calculi and minimizes trauma, reduces bleeding, and maintains a clear working field. The 1.5 and 2.2 Fr baskets combine strength with flexibility making them ideal for stone capture and extraction within the kidney and ureter. The 3.0 Fr option features a flower-shaped basket that facilitates retention of stones and fragments found in the ureter. All Dormia® No-Tip baskets feature an ergonomic and removable handle.

Orchestra™ guidewires are constructed with kink-resistant nitinol that provides turn-for-turn torque control and atraumatic navigation.  The hydrophilic-coated Orchestra™ shaft reduces surface friction for easier advancement and withdrawal within the urinary tract.  The radiopaque outer jacket provides enhanced fluoroscopic visibility for accurate positioning.
